PNN – The first meeting of the Gaza Peace Council was held after a period of ceasefire.
The US President chaired the Peace Council meeting at the Donald Trump Institute of Peace in Washington and addressed the participating delegations.
“Today is a big day and we have a lot of leaders in the council meetings,” Trump said.
The US President added: Peace is very difficult, but we will achieve it. He emphasized: Achieving peace in the Middle East is not impossible.
Trump believes: The situation in Gaza is complex and there has been excellent progress, but we still have work to do. He said: The Peace Council is the most influential institution in terms of power.
He claimed: The war in Gaza is over and Hamas will hand over its weapons as promised, otherwise it will face a harsh response.
Trump also announced: Several countries have contributed more than $7 billion as a rescue package for Gaza.
Trump also said about Lebanon: We are solving the problem of Lebanon, which is a small problem compared to what we are doing. We are working on a number of issues related to Lebanon, and its problems need to be solved.
