The forced migration of more than a thousand Palestinians from the West Bank

Pak Sahafat – The United Nations reported on Monday that since 2022, more than 1,100 Palestinians have been forced to leave 28 residential areas in the West Bank.

According to the report of Pak Sahafat International News Agency, the United Nations published a report on Monday that the crimes committed by Israeli settlers and Zionist soldiers in the West Bank have increased since 2022.

Anatolia News Agency reported, quoting this organization, that from 2022 until now, more than 1,100 Palestinians have been forced to leave 28 residential areas in the West Bank, which is due to the increase in the violent actions of the Zionists.

According to this report, the violence of the Israeli settlers in different parts of the West Bank has increased during the past years and has caused the forced migration of the Palestinian people.

According to this report, out of the 28 residential areas in the West Bank, four areas have been completely emptied of Palestinian citizens, and in the other six areas, more than 50% of its residents have lost their homes from 2022 until today have left In the meantime, 25% of the residents of six other areas have been forced to leave their homes.

It is emphasized in this report; the mentioned people have been forced to move to safer rural areas. Most of the immigrants came from the provinces of Ramallah (center), Nablus (north) and Hebron (south); because most Israeli cities are located in these areas.

Previously, Volker Turk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, sent a warning message to the Zionist regime last July due to Israel’s military aggression against the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights warned of the seriousness of the escalation of violence in the West Bank and called for an “immediate end to it”. He asked Tel Aviv to “comply with international law and conduct an effective investigation into its crimes in the West Bank”.

This UN official also addressed the Zionists and noted that excessive use of weapons by the occupiers will take the existing security situation out of control and cause more threats. Turk emphasized the need for what he called a “policy reversal” and called on Tel Aviv to quickly comply with international human rights standards.
