The foreign ministers of Egypt and Qatar: The Zionist army should leave Lebanon immediately.
According to Al Jazeera news channel, Egypt’s foreign ministry issued a statement and announced that the country’s foreign minister, Badr Abdul Ati, had a telephone consultation with Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, regarding the latest developments in the situation in Gaza and Lebanon.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, in this conversation, the foreign ministers of the two sides discussed the solutions of joint efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of prisoners and the unconditional import of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
According to the statement of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the two sides also evaluated and reviewed Egypt’s efforts to realize Palestinian reconciliation by hosting Fatah and Hamas delegations in Cairo.
In this phone call, the foreign ministers of Egypt and Qatar emphasized the necessity of preserving the unity and territorial integrity of Lebanon and the withdrawal of the Zionist regime from all Lebanese lands and the necessity of the commitment of the Israeli army to guarantee the health and safety of the forces affiliated to the United Nations.
