The free fall of Americans’ confidence in Biden’s ability to lead the country’s economy

PNN – Referring to the results of a poll, Fox News announced the decrease in Americans’ confidence in Joe Biden’s economic power and wrote: Support for his economic measures has fallen from 57% to 38% in the first three years of his presidency.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the Fox News Network, the results of a survey conducted by the Gallup Institute show that only 38% of Americans trust Joe Biden to lead the country’s economy.

According to this news channel, close to the Republicans, support for Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, has barely crossed the 50% mark, and 46% of American adults say they “very much” or “moderately” support Trump.

According to polls, Trump’s support has remained almost constant since he left the White House in 2020, from 47% to 46%.

But in the case of former American President Barack Obama, the situation was different. In the polls conducted by Gallup in 2009, more than 70% of the participants showed a desire for him to enter the White House. But the support for this democratic president decreased to 42% in 2014.

The results of Gallup polls about Biden also indicate that in the first three years of his presidency, a pattern similar to Obama’s has been followed. In the first three years, 57% said that they were confident in Biden’s ability to do this. But now this figure has reached 38%.

The survey conducted by this institute also shows that only George W. Bush experienced a lower level of support in the second term compared to Biden, and faced a significant drop of 34% in the midst of the great economic recession in the United States.
