The Gaza War Cost the Zionists $38 Billion.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, according to a report by the economic newspaper Kalkalist, the Israeli war against Gaza has cost a total of 142 billion shekels (Israeli currency) by the end of 2024, equivalent to about $38.5 billion.
The details published in the report show that the net cost of the war (excluding US aid) was 121.3 billion shekels, equivalent to $33 billion, of which about 96.4 billion shekels ($26.2 billion) were spent on military affairs and 24.9 billion shekels ($6.7 billion) were spent on civilian affairs.
The highest monthly cost of the war was recorded in December 2023, during which 17.2 billion shekels ($4.7 billion) were spent in just one month.
According to official data, the war has increased the budget deficit by 1.4 percent of GDP in 2023 and 4.8 percent in 2024, leading to a total budget deficit of 106.2 billion shekels ($28.8 billion) by the end of 2024.
The war has also caused a significant reduction in tax revenues, a figure that remains difficult to accurately estimate.
