The German police dispersed and arrested the supporters of Palestine

PNN – The German Radio website reported that after the 24-hour occupation of one of the buildings of Humboldt University by pro-Palestinian demonstrators, the Berlin police arrested a group of protesters.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, following the expulsion of pro-Palestinian demonstrators from Humboldt University in the capital of Germany, the police have started 25 criminal investigations.

A police spokesman said in this regard that the officers detained 169 people for a short time and authenticated them.

Radio Germany added: Pro-Palestinian activists recently occupied the classes of the Humboldt University’s Faculty of Social Sciences to protest Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza and the export of German weapons to Israel.

The university administration first talked to the protesters and gave them a deadline to leave the building, but this deadline was ignored.

Student organizers condemned the police action and accused the officers of excessive violence against the students.

In April, the Berlin police dispersed a protest camp of supporters of Palestine, which was set up in front of the German Chancellor’s building.
