The government of Pakistan is speeding up the process of sending humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon

PNN – A high-level meeting of Pakistani officials was held to increase the humanitarian aid of this country for the oppressed people of Gaza and Lebanon, and they emphasized the acceleration of this process, including the use of land routes in order to deliver humanitarian aid.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, from the public relations of the Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan, a meeting to review the latest developments related to the collection and sending of humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon was held today under the chairmanship of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

Shahbaz Sharif renewed the pledge of the government and people of Pakistan to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon and ordered the immediate dispatch of 2 cargo planes carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon.

In this meeting, while having a virtual conversation with the ambassadors of Pakistan in Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt, he asked them to take all the necessary measures to receive the aid sent from Pakistan in the mission countries and quickly transfer it to the humanitarian aid distribution site for the people of Gaza and Lebanon.

Emphasizing the acceleration of the humanitarian aid campaign at the national and popular level, Pakistani officials said that the continued attacks of the occupying Israeli regime and the blockade of Gaza have made it difficult to deliver humanitarian aid to civilians in these areas.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan asked the rich people of this country to join the plan to collect humanitarian aid for Gaza and Lebanon, and asked for the participation of different sections of the people of Pakistan in supporting the oppressed people of Gaza and Lebanon.

He added that Pakistan’s humanitarian aid should be sent by land routes in addition to air routes, and the authorities should make arrangements for the immediate delivery of this aid by land routes.

Since the beginning of the Gaza war and the aggression of the Zionist regime, the government of Pakistan has sent a total of 1,251 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon with 12 planes, including 10 cargoes for the people of Gaza and 2 cargoes for Lebanon.

On the 382nd day of the war against Gaza, the Zionist regime continues its attacks and brutal actions against the residents of this strip.

According to the report of the Lebanese Ministry of Health, these attacks have left hundreds of martyrs and thousands of wounded.

The Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, has launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, as a result of which, in addition to massive destruction and deadly famine, more than thousands of Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, have been martyred and injured.
