The Group of Seven supports the ceasefire in Lebanon and ignores the arrest warrant for Netanyahu.

According to the Associated Press, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) countries issued a joint statement supporting the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, but made no reference to the International Criminal Court (The Hague) warrant for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In the statement, the G7 foreign ministers called on Israel to “facilitate safe, rapid, full and unhindered humanitarian access to the Palestinian people in Gaza.”

According to the Associated Press, the statement made no explicit or direct reference to the International Criminal Court (The Hague) warrant for the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Minister of War Yoav Gallant on charges of crimes against humanity.

The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Minister of War Yoav Gallant on Thursday (December 21). The verdict, which was issued due to the commission of war crimes in Gaza by these two officials of the Zionist regime, has been announced.

Following the verdict, although the Zionist regime has sought to reject it, attack the legitimacy of the ICC, and intensify lobbying efforts, many countries, even European and American countries, have announced their readiness to implement the verdict. Joseph Borrell, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, also did not consider the court’s order political and added: “We must respect the decision of this court and implement it.”
