The Guardian: The new order of the International Court of Justice makes Israel more isolated

PNN – The Guardian newspaper wrote: It seems that the new possible order of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) about stopping the war in Gaza will make Israel (regime) more isolated in the international market.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this newspaper pointed to the increasing concern of the United States about the intensification of the diplomatic isolation of the Israeli regime among the traditional supporters of this regime, wrote: In the midst of speculations about the new ruling of the International Court of Justice regarding the halting of Israel’s invasion (regime) of Gaza, the second highest court in the world, the International Criminal Court (ICC), appointed three judges to hear the request for arrest warrants for the leaders of Hamas, Netanyahu and Israel’s Minister of Defense (Regime) Yoav Gallant has introduced.

South Africa asked the International Court of Justice, which is based in The Hague and is also known as the “World Court”, to issue an order to stop Israel’s invasion (regime) of Gaza and Rafah in particular. This country emphasized that it is necessary to guarantee the survival of the Palestinian people.

The Guardian wrote that decisions of the International Court of Justice have been ignored in the past because the UN’s highest legal body has no way to enforce its orders, but these decisions carry international weight. A ruling against Israel could add to the regime’s political isolation after a series of setbacks this week.

The Israeli regime claims that it does not intend to follow any order to stop the war.

The Guardian added: Israel has faced increasing problems in the international arena in recent days. After Ireland, Norway and Spain announced that they recognize Palestine as an independent state, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan expressed his concern about the international isolation of the Israeli regime.

Sullivan echoed Anthony Blinken’s remarks to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, saying the administration is ready to work with Congress on possible sanctions against the International Criminal Court in response to its efforts to arrest Netanyahu.

Republicans in the House of Representatives and the US Senate have publicly introduced legislation against the International Criminal Court, of which the US is not a member. However, the country has supported some of the court’s previous efforts to intensify prosecutions, particularly against Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Ukraine war.
