PNN – The Guardian wrote: The US government warned Israel last month that if it does not increase humanitarian aid to Gaza, it will face sanctions; a deadline that has been ignored by Israeli officials due to the fact that “aid has reached rock bottom”.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Guardian wrote: Israel’s statistics show that despite the 30-day deadline of the United States and the threat of sanctions, the amount of aid transferred to Gaza has reached its lowest level since last December.
On October 13, the US gave Israel a deadline to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza. This deadline will end today, Tuesday or Wednesday, but it is not clear what action Washington will take due to Tel Aviv’s refusal to comply with this request. However, this action may include stopping the supply of some ammunition or other military aid.
Since the beginning of this month, only 8,805 tons of food aid has entered Gaza from the border checkpoint of the Zionist regime.
On Monday, the Zionist authorities announced in the 90-minute decisions that they will expand the so-called “humanitarian zone” plan, which will partially reduce crowding and allow some displaced people to move away from this coastal area as the winter season approaches.

The Guardian added: However, Israel (the regime) has ignored most of the demands raised in the joint letter of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Defense Minister Lloyd Austin on October 13.
Aid officials in Gaza describe the situation in most of its areas as an “apocalyptic” situation. More than 80 percent of Gaza’s 2.3 million people have been displaced, and more than two-thirds of our buildings have been destroyed or damaged during the 13-month war.
Statistics from the Zionist military organization Cogat, which is responsible for coordinating humanitarian aid to Gaza, show that only 25,155 tons of food aid entered Gaza in October, which is less than any full month since December 2023.
A UN official said that aid organizations are also facing a shortage of drivers, communication equipment, etc. Since May, the Zionist organization that coordinates aid to Gaza has granted permission to only one-tenth of more than 300 requests of aid truck drivers.
The Guardian wrote: America had previously asked Israel (regime) to allow more aid, but it was faced with this regime’s inaction.
Washington has even ignored the report of its own agencies after they concluded that Israel was deliberately blocking the delivery of food and medicine to Gaza. According to the law in the United States, countries that prevent the sending of aid supported by the United States are embargoed from arms shipments.
The Zionist regime’s refusal to allow the transfer of aid and Washington’s lack of action to prevent it comes at a time when last week the Committee of World Food Security Experts warned that there is a strong possibility that hunger and famine are an imminent phenomenon in northern Gaza.
