Mehr News Agency, International Group: Coinciding with the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and Imam Sadiq (PBUH), a group of government officials and foreign guests participating in the Unity Conference met with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. The words of the Supreme Leader during this meeting and the emphasis on the destruction of the Zionist regime along with the necessity of the unity of Islamic countries have been noticed by Arab newspapers.
Referring to the Supreme Leader’s speech, Al-Maqreeb Al-Iraqi newspaper wrote: Imam Khamenei emphasized that the Zionist regime is moving towards destruction and the currents that are moving towards the normalization of relations have counted on a losing horse. Enmity with Islam has become more evident today than ever before, and criminal actions and insults do not weaken the Holy Quran, but the perpetrators of these actions destroy themselves.
The Syrian newspaper Al-Watan quoted the Supreme Leader as saying: America steals Syrian oil and keeps ISIS terrorist elements in its military bases to use them again the day it is needed.
During the meeting with the ambassadors of the Islamic countries, including Shafiq Diyoub, the Syrian ambassador in Tehran, the leader of Iran emphasized: that America is targeting the countries of the region politically and economically and is interfering in their affairs. If all of us, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and the countries of the Persian Gulf, adopt a single policy on basic and general issues, arrogant currents will not dare to intervene.
