The research explained that the technologies in question enabled the Israeli military to process massive amounts of data in real time, which led to the launch of precision strikes with drones and guided missiles on civilian areas, killing hundreds of Palestinians, including women and children.
The report adds that this cooperation is being carried out within the framework of a joint government project between Amazon and Google called “Nimbus” to provide cloud services based on artificial intelligence and security data analysis to Israeli civilian and military institutions.
According to documents obtained by The Intercept, the project would allow the storage of Israeli internal security data on domestic servers, giving the military institution advanced digital capabilities to identify targets and conduct military operations with greater precision.
