The international student movement “Support Palestine” reached Venezuela.

According to TASS, thousands of students in Venezuela came to the streets on Tuesday in the capital city of Caracas to support the Palestinian people.

While walking from Bolivar University to the National Assembly, the students carried posters and chanted slogans against Israeli aggression and genocide in Palestine.

Fadi Elzaban, the Palestinian ambassador, said in this demonstration: “Palestine has been waiting for justice for 75 years and has defended its right to exist.” Israel has turned the Gaza Strip into a graveyard for children and women. I ask how many more children must die before we achieve independence?

He said that Israel destroyed 500 schools and educational centers in Gaza along with five universities and killed 80 university presidents.

This is not the first demonstration in support of Palestine in Venezuela, and during the war against Gaza, the Venezuelan people have called for an end to the war in Gaza on several occasions.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said on Monday: “The youth of the world must take to the streets to expose the genocide of the Palestinian people [authorized by Benjamin] Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, and demand immediate peace.”

Previously, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced that the Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, violates international laws and creates chaos.

Earlier, Nicolás Maduro said that Israel is bombing hospitals in the Gaza Strip and massacring the sick, wounded, and displaced Palestinians. The President of Venezuela added that the Zionist regime has planted the seeds of an ideology more dangerous than Nazism first against the Palestinian people and then against all Arab and Islamic nations as well as Christians.
