According to this report, the Zionist army does not announce the number of soldiers who committed suicide this year, and has buried the bodies of many soldiers without a military funeral since the beginning of the Gaza war.
A Zionist soldier says in this regard that army commanders have given soldiers who have suffered psychological trauma two options: suicide or desertion.
A military commander also says in this regard: Thousands of reserve soldiers in Gaza have come to us suffering from mental illness.
He adds: “Because of the soldiers’ commitment to war, we are forced to take people to the battlefield who are not in a normal mental state. We are forced to recruit people who suffer from mental illness and are even undergoing treatment. We are afraid to have our soldiers undergo psychological examinations so that the army does not remain without soldiers.”
Meanwhile, reports from Zionist circles indicate a significant increase in the suicide rate among the Zionist soldiers, most of whom are also reservists.

According to this report, at the beginning of 2025, the Zionist army published statistics related to the names of the victims of 2023-2024, which show a significant increase in suicides among the Zionist soldiers.
According to statistical data, last year (2024), 21 Israeli soldiers committed suicide, the highest number since 2011, while in 2023, the number of soldiers who committed suicide was 17.
Statistics also show that most of the soldiers who committed suicide last year were from the reserve forces, and despite this, the Israeli army claims that the number of soldiers who committed suicide is not high because the number of soldiers who have been recruited into the army has almost doubled since the beginning of the Gaza war.
