The Israeli army is concerned about repetition of Operation “Al-Aqsa Storm”
Al Jazeera quoted the Ma’ariv newspaper as saying that the Israeli Air Force has decided to make changes to the structure of protecting the borders of the occupied territories to prevent a repeat of Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa.
The report states that each regional division commander can engage with any force that tries to penetrate the borders of the occupied territories by land using the air assets at his disposal.
The report further emphasizes that the Israeli Air Force is examining the options of Air Tractor and Black Hawk fighter jets for air protection of the borders.
It should be noted that the combined and surprising Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa, which led to the capture of a large number of Israeli soldiers, has caused concern and fear among the leaders of the Israeli regime, so much so that they are conducting extensive investigations into the cause of this operation and the necessary measures to prevent its recurrence.
