The Israeli army’s “Gideon’s Chariots” operation is unable to defeat Hamas.
According to the Zionist regime’s Channel Seven TV, the Israeli army admitted once again today (Monday) that it has not yet been able to defeat Hamas, seven days after the start of the second phase of Operation Gideon’s Chariots in the continuation of the devastating war in Gaza.
According to the report, in parallel with the expansion of air and ground attacks in Gaza, the army is trying to pressure Hamas to release prisoners without making any concessions in the ceasefire negotiations. However, the regime’s security and military leaders still admit that they have not been able to change their stance of resistance.
This is while 70,000 Zionist soldiers are conducting operations in Gaza City, and the army is bombing residential buildings and all vital infrastructure in Gaza by land, air, and sea.
Also, in parallel with the military operation in Gaza City, the occupiers have displaced nearly 550,000 of them from the city by pressuring residents and civilians.
In this regard, Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, informed political officials last week (Sunday) that the Hamas movement will not be defeated militarily or even politically, even after the complete occupation of Gaza City.
These statements were made during a security meeting chaired by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to consult on the Gaza war and the prisoner issue, before the start of the extensive ground operation in Gaza City.
The Israeli Channel 12 also reported, quoting Zamir, that the Israeli army estimates that the complete occupation of Gaza City will take about 6 months, and its complete cleansing will take even longer.
These developments are occurring while the Israeli military, on Netanyahu’s orders, is expanding the scope of its operations in Gaza City and is destroying residential buildings, ignoring repeated warnings that the lives of prisoners are at risk.
