The Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Aharonot also reported that Tel Aviv and Washington have exchanged drafts of a ceasefire in Lebanon.
Israeli sources emphasized that a good opportunity has been provided to reach an agreement in Lebanon.
This is while the Israeli army has not been able to fully take control of even a single village in the region after more than 40 days since the start of the invasion of southern Lebanon.
