According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by the Palestinian news agency “Sama”, In response to the US decision to sanction the Netza Yehuda Battalion for violating the human rights of Palestinians in the West Bank, Mirav Mikhaili, the head of the Labor Party of the Zionist regime, emphasized that these sanctions are a dangerous, difficult and extremely worrisome measure.
He said: In response to these sanctions, we must acknowledge the facts and understand that Israel’s behavior in the Palestinian territories can never continue.
The head of the Labor Party of the Zionist regime emphasized: The violent and corrupt behavior of the Netza Yehuda battalion has been revealed for years, but no action has been taken to stop it. 2 years ago, America created a research team about this battalion, and therefore the political and military circles of Israel cannot pretend to be ignorant of this issue.

Pointing out that the continuation of this battalion’s behavior made Israel’s most important strategic ally think of sanctioning this battalion, Mikhaili said: Netza Yehuda should have been disbanded years ago. This battalion teaches settlers violence, kills Palestinians without reason, and abuses and insults Palestinian detainees.
He added that Israeli politicians should not defend it without reason by saying that this battalion is an integral part of the Israeli army, because this causes corruption in the army.
The Axios news website, citing three unnamed American officials, reported that Washington will soon sanction the Netza Yehuda Battalion affiliated with the Zionist Army for violating human rights in the West Bank.
Axios added that this is the first time that the United States has sanctioned an Israeli military unit, and the sanctioning of this (extremist) battalion will soon be announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
The Netza Yehuda Battalion was formed in 1999 as a special unit for ultra-orthodox Jewish soldiers.
Axios added that the battalion, based in the West Bank, “has become a center of attraction for many young far-right settlers” who have not been accepted into any other IDF battalion.
