The majority of people in Gaza depend on aid.
According to Al Jazeera, although the European Union stands fully alongside the Zionist regime and its extremist politicians, but with the continuation of the Palestinian genocide, the pressure of public opinion on the officials of this union has increased, prompting them to adopt new positions.
Jeniz Lennarcisse, the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, expressed regret for the plight of the Palestinians in Gaza.
In this regard, he said: Despite the efforts of humanitarian organizations to bring essential items to Gaza during the last eight months, the amount of humanitarian items entering Gaza has reached an unacceptable level. This is despite the fact that a large part of the population of this barrack depends on relief aid.
The European Commissioner for Crisis Management pointed out: We now desperately need the establishment of a lasting ceasefire in Gaza in order to distribute vital aid to those in need. In order for more aid to enter Gaza, the two main crossings including Rafah and Karim Abu Salem must be reopened.
This senior European official emphasized: Now the aid is stored outside the border of Gaza and it is not allowed to enter this strip, while a few kilometers on the other side, Palestinian children are dying due to hunger. We can and we must end this tragedy.
The Rafah crossing, the main route for humanitarian aid to Gaza, has been blocked since May 7 by the Israeli occupation army and the entry of relief aid to this passage.
