The message of Pakistan’s high-ranking officials: World Quds Day is a renewal of the covenant with Palestine

PNN – The Prime Minister, Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Pakistan, in their messages on the occasion of the International Quds Day, while renewing their commitment to the aspirations of the Palestinian nation and condemning the continued occupation of the Zionist regime, said: Al-Quds Day is the day of unanimity of Muslims and the nations of the world to save the Palestinians from the grip of a usurping regime and to liberate Jerusalem.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan in Islamabad published the message of the Prime Minister of this country, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, on the occasion of the International Quds Day.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of the Gaza war and demanding the international community to end its silence against the genocide of Palestinians by Israel, Shahbaz Sharif said: It is an obvious fact that the usurper Israel has imposed on the Palestinian nation and the beginning of this sad story did not start on October 7, 2023, but goes back more than 7 decades earlier.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan added that his country is still committed to the formation of an independent and free Palestinian state, which should be in accordance with the pre-1967 borders with Quds Sharif as its capital.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, also said in his message on the occasion of World Quds Day: The parliament, along with the government and people of this country, stands strongly by the Palestinians and fully supports their fight against the Israeli occupation regime.

He described the passive reaction of the international community in arresting the crimes of the Zionists as painful and a shameful approach and added: The freedom-loving nations of the world have united for Palestine, but unfortunately, international human rights organizations have failed in fulfilling their duties to help the Palestinians against Israel.

Ayaz Sadegh stressed: On the International Quds Day, we once again announce our political, diplomatic and moral support to the Palestinians as well as the Muslim people of Kashmir and demand the formation of an independent Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders.

The Vice Speaker of the Pakistani Parliament considered the continuation of Zionist crimes in Gaza as a slap on the global justice system and the false claimants of human rights and added: The world should end its silence against the genocide of the people of Gaza by Israel.
