The message of the youth of Gaza to the pro-Palestinian students in America: “You are our hope/stay strong”

PNN – After the news of the movement of pro-Palestinian students in American universities reached Gaza, the students of the Gaza Strip expressed their gratitude to the protesters of the Zionist regime’s war in an interview with “NBC News”.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reem Musa Suleiman Abu Shinar, who studied human rights in Gaza before October 7th, spoke to NBC News in the city of Rafah, where he and his family, along with more than a million other people, are on the verge of an imminent ground attack by the Zionist regime have taken refuge there, said: I feel proud because there are students who understand what we are feeling now and support us.

The website of NBC News wrote: He was studying at Al-Isra University in Gaza about 6 months ago, and was determined to become a force for positive change in his community, but his dreams stopped after the start of Israel’s attack on Gaza.

23-year-old Abu Shinar was not alone in praising the American students. Students and children in Gaza have recently come together to send messages of thanks to these demonstrators and have also written expressions of gratitude on the sides of Rafah tents.

Abu Shinar said: It is very impressive to see thousands of American students setting up camps to end the war in Gaza and demanding that their universities be freed from [participation in the war] Israel and companies that profit from the war.

The news of the camps in the US universities to support the people of Gaza and protest the war of the Zionist regime reached the northern Gaza as well, and 22-year-old medical student “Ez Lulu” asks the students to “continue to fight for what is right”.

Abdullah Abujaser, a 21-year-old clinical psychology student at Al-Isra University, said he was saddened to hear that hundreds of students had been arrested in the United States.

He stated that “it is our right to protest against anything we don’t like”, and emphasized: We are all equal, we also have the right to study and live in safety.

Abu Jasser, who previously described his despair after seeing his university destroyed in an interview with NBC News, said he has renewed hope for humanity after seeing protests on US campuses.

Aya Salameh, a 21-year-old English translation student who was due to graduate from Al-Azhar University this spring before the war began, said he hoped the demonstrators at US universities would “stay strong and continue these protests.”

With the continued brutal attacks of the Zionist regime in Gaza, the largest wave of American student activism since the anti-racism protests of 2020, known as the “Black Lives Matter” movement, has been launched across the United States.
