The miserable situation of 50,000 pregnant women and 900,000 children in Gaza settlement centers

PNN – The spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza called the situation of the accommodation centers where 1.8 million people are settled as catastrophic and said that 50 thousand pregnant women are present in these centers without any medical care.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Ashraf al-Qadara, the spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, announced that 20,674 people have been martyred and more than 54,000 have been injured so far during the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza.

Sama news agency reported, quoting al-Qadra, that the Zionist forces committed 25 murders in Gaza in the last 24 hours, as a result of which 250 people were martyred and 500 people were injured.

Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on Palestinian affairs, emphasized today about these killings, “it is not much different from other massacres of civilians in other parts of the world.”

The UN official said: “Genocide is a process, not a single act; It should be prevented, but in Gaza — like what happened in Srebrenica and Rwanda — the world just lets it happen.”

Al-Qadara further stated that 311 medical personnel were martyred and 102 ambulances were destroyed in the Zionist attacks, and said: The Zionist regime targeted 141 medical centers and stopped the activities of 23 hospitals and 53 medical centers.

Referring to the arrest of 99 medical personnel by the Zionists, this Palestinian official stated: Israel is deliberately targeting hospitals in northern Gaza so that 800,000 people are deprived of medical services.

Al-Qadara called the situation of the accommodation centers where 1,800,000 people are located as catastrophic and emphasized: 900,000 children in these centers are facing the risk of famine, digestive and skin diseases, and anemia.

Referring to the presence of 50,000 pregnant women in these centers who live without any water, food or medical care, he said: “Every day, around 180 pregnant women give birth in inhumane conditions.”
