The new Israeli war minister’s precondition for a ceasefire in Lebanon.
According to Al Jazeera Qatar, Israel Katz, the new Israeli Minister of War, who is known for his extremism, claimed, without referring to the heavy losses of the Israeli forces on the Lebanese and Gaza fronts, that stopping the war and implementing a ceasefire in Lebanon will only be possible after Hezbollah is defeated and Israel agrees to its conditions.
The Israeli Minister of War’s statements come at a time when the Israeli regime has suffered heavy losses on the Lebanese front and has lost many of its forces on this front.
On the other hand, Katz’s statements are made in direct contradiction to the reports of the Israeli media, which had announced that a draft ceasefire in Lebanon had been exchanged between the United States, Lebanon, and Israel.
At the same time, Mahmoud al-Qamati, one of the senior leaders of Hezbollah in Lebanon, also announced that the group had not received any draft ceasefire in Lebanon.
