The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Aharonot announced that the draft agreement proposed to the Hamas movement includes the release of 20 female Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment in exchange for every living Israeli female soldier.
According to this agreement, the Hamas movement currently holds 3-4 Israeli female military prisoners, and in the first stage, 60-100 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment will be released.
According to this report, the proposed agreement has three stages and will last 124 days.
This Hebrew media explained that in the first phase, a truce will be established for 40 days, 33 Israeli prisoners will be released in front of 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, and the people of Gaza will return to their homes in northern Gaza.
According to this three-stage agreement, in the second stage, an immediate ceasefire will be established for 42 days, the rest of the Israeli prisoners, including some soldiers, will be released, and some Palestinian prisoners will be released, whose numbers and identities are still unknown.
In the third stage, a truce will be established for 42 days, the bodies of all the dead Israeli prisoners will be returned, the bodies of all the martyrs of the Palestinian prisoners will be returned, and the Israeli army will withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
According to news sources, mediating parties, including the United States, Egypt, and Qatar, are waiting for the Hamas negotiating team’s response to the three-stage provisions of the announced ceasefire terms.
In the latest details related to the negotiations in Cairo for the exchange of prisoners and the ceasefire in Gaza, the Egyptian media emphasized that significant progress has been made in the negotiations on the ceasefire and the agreement on the exchange of prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the Cairo News Channel, citing a high-ranking source, reported that the Egyptian Security Council, which was mediating in the negotiation process between Israel and Hamas, reached an agreement framework regarding many points of disagreement.
This source told this channel that the Hamas delegation has arrived in Egypt and that significant progress has been made in the negotiations.
Earlier, Ahmed Abdul Hadi, the representative of Hamas in Lebanon, referring to Hamas’ adherence to its four conditions, called the re-appearance of the Hamas negotiating team in Egypt for the ceasefire negotiations as the reason for the withdrawal of the occupiers in the new round of negotiations.
