PNN – A Zionist media announced the dismissal of the commander of the psychological warfare unit of the Israeli army following a scandal in which a telegram channel affiliated with this unit had published disgusting images of the brutality of the Zionist military against civilians in Gaza, bypassing the military censorship.
According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, in a situation where the Zionist media, especially during the war, are under severe military censorship by the army, the Hebrew newspaper Ha’aretz recently revealed in a report that a Telegram channel is responsible for publishing specific content and images from the Israeli army to influence Israelis during the Gaza war.
According to this report, a unit affiliated with the Israeli army known as “Tahir” unit is responsible for managing this Telegram channel. This channel was created on October 9, 2023, 2 days after the Al-Aqsa storm operation, and its responsibility was to publish images related to the destruction of Gaza after the Israeli attacks, so that the army of this regime could face the public opinion of the Israelis after the humiliating defeat that occurred on October 7.
Of course, this is not the first time that the Israeli army seeks to launch a psychological war against the Palestinians and reassure the Zionist settlers with unofficial accounts on social networks. During the May 2021 war in Gaza, the Zionists used the same method to present their fake narratives of the war and show the image of victory for Israel.
According to the Hebrew Times newspaper, after the disclosure of this issue at the time, the Israeli army had to admit that it was wrong and that this was illegal and meant to bypass military censorship.
The scandal of the Israeli army after the publication of images of brutality in Gaza
But today, Haaretz newspaper announced in a new report that due to the publication of images of brutality by Israeli forces by the aforementioned Telegram channel, which has a great negative impact on the public opinion of the world, the commander of the “Impact” unit, who is responsible for the administration of this channel, was dismissed.
In the report of this Zionist newspaper, it is stated that the forces of the Israeli army systematically published scenes of killing and destruction in the Gaza Strip and bypassed the Israeli military censorship in the framework of psychological warfare.
“Yanio Kobovits”, a military correspondent in Haaretz newspaper, announced in this regard that an Israeli channel on Telegram published a series of video clips from Gaza in which Israeli forces are seen insulting the bodies of Palestinians. What this channel has done is something that the Israeli army is not allowed to do, and therefore the commander of the influence unit will be removed from his position.
According to the information disclosed by this Hebrew media, the commanders and forces of the Impact Unit, which is responsible for the psychological warfare operations against the enemies inside and outside, started their activities independently from the second day of the current war in Gaza.
In this Telegram channel, thousands of posts, photos and videos of the killing and brutality of the Zionists in the Gaza Strip have been published, and the followers of the channel are also asked to share these contents so that “everyone can see what the Israeli army is doing in Gaza”.
In one of the clips published by the mentioned channel, it is shown how an Israeli car passes over the body of a Palestinian several times and it is written on the clip: “Share this beauty”!
According to Haaretz, those who manage this Telegram channel at a certain stage began to publish provocative content inside the occupied territories of 1948, which could lead to the escalation of violence between Israelis and Palestinians.
