PNN – Research by Lancet medical magazine showed that the casualties of the Gaza war caused by the attacks of the Zionist regime are about 40% higher than the figures announced by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
According to the report of Pakistan Network, the Guardian newspaper wrote: The Lancet magazine’s research estimate shows that the number of martyrs caused by the Gaza war until the end of June was 64,260 people, 59% of whom were women, children and people over 65 years old.
The Ministry of Health of Gaza reported the martyrdom of 37,877 Palestinians in this war until June 30 last year.
According to the report of the Palestinian health authorities, a total of more than 46 thousand people out of a population of two million and 300 thousand people have been martyred in the Gaza war.
The Guardian wrote that independent verification of the number of casualties of the Gaza war by the international media is not possible because the Israeli regime does not allow foreign journalists to enter this area.

The Lancet’s new figures only include Palestinian casualties from war-related injuries, and do not include deaths from lack of health care or food, and the thousands believed to be trapped under rubble.
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) estimated that in addition to the official statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Health regarding the number of war dead, 11,000 Palestinians are also missing and are believed to have been martyred.
According to IRNA, the Zionist regime has been waging a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has so far led to widespread destruction of infrastructure, deadly famine, and the martyrdom and injury of thousands of Palestinians, most of whom are women and children.
This regime has also, contrary to the warnings of the international community, approved a law that prohibits the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) inside occupied Palestine.
Tel Aviv continues its crimes by disregarding the international community and ignoring the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the rulings of the International Court of Justice regarding the cessation of war and the prevention of genocide in Gaza.
Despite this, Zionist officials have admitted that after more than a year, this regime has not yet been able to achieve its goals from this war, including the destruction of the Hamas movement and the release of Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
