PNN – The media office of the Gaza government announced in a statement that the number of martyrs of reporters and journalists has reached 117 people since the beginning of the occupation’s genocide against Gaza (October 7).
According to Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian Information Center, the media office of the Gaza government added in this statement: The Zionist army has deliberately targeted Palestinian journalists since the beginning of the war against Gaza, and their aim is to prevent the publication of their crimes in Gaza.
The number of martyred Palestinian journalists who have been martyred since October 7 and during the recent aggression of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip is more than the total number of martyred journalists in the years 2021 and 2022 all over the world.

According to the statistics published in 2021 and 2022 worldwide, a total of 109 journalists have been killed, which has increased to 117 for Gaza in the last 100 days.
On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, after 45 days of fighting and conflict, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.
This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on Friday morning (December 1, 2023) the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against the Gaza Strip.
