The official confirmation of the occupation of Jabal al-Sheikh in Syria by the Minister of War of the Zionist regime

PNN – Israel Katz, Minister of War of the Zionist regime, announced today (Friday) that the soldiers of this regime will not leave the Jabal al-Sheikh peak in Syria this winter and will remain there.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Al-Jazeera, the Minister of War of the Israeli regime announced this and added: I ordered the army to be ready to stay on the peak of Jabal al-Sheikh during the winter season.

He added: Dominating the peak of Jabal al-Sheikh is of great security importance in the shadow of the current events in Syria.

Jabal al-Sheikh is one of the strategic areas in the region and its control gives Israel a wide view towards the south of Syria.

This peak has witnessed tensions and conflicts between Israel and Syria during the past years.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced last Sunday the collapse of the 1974 Syrian-Israeli secession agreement in the Golan region.

He ordered that the buffer zone in the Syrian Golan be brought under control.

Following this action, media sources announced the occupation of areas of Syrian territory by the Zionist army and published pictures of the invasion of the occupying forces in the city of Quneitra.

Simultaneously with this action, the cabinet of this regime agreed to the occupation of Jabal al-Sheikh region of Syria and the establishment of a buffer zone in this region.

Al Jazeera announced that for the first time since 1974, the military vehicles of the Zionist regime entered the southern regions of Syria.

This occupation and the attacks of the Zionist army took place after the Syrian armed opposition announced their control over the city of Damascus on Sunday morning and the departure of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
