The Pakistani army has called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

Pakistani army commanders, while expressing their full solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and condemning the crimes of the occupying regime of Israel, called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

The 261st joint meeting of army commanders was held in the city of Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of General Syed Asim Munir, the commander of the Pakistani army. Participants discussed the latest developments related to Gaza in addition to domestic security developments, the challenge of terrorism, and the fight against terrorist groups.

The Pakistani army commanders strongly condemned the serious violations of human rights against Palestinians by the occupying Israeli army and the war crimes of this regime, declaring their full solidarity with the Palestinian people.

They emphasized the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and called for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

Yesterday, Muhammad Taqi Usmani, the Grand Mufti of Pakistan, met with the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas) during a visit to the capital of Qatar to discuss the developments of the Gaza war and the necessity of Islamic unity against the crimes of the Zionist regime.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan also criticized countries that have sided with the Zionist regime, emphasizing that Israel is an illegitimate and artificial regime and that what the occupiers are committing against the people of Gaza reflects the criminal nature of Netanyahu.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, in its latest statement, announced that the number of war martyrs in Gaza from October 7th is 21,320 and the number of wounded is 55,603.

On October 15th, Palestinian resistance groups launched a surprise operation called “Operation Storm of Jerusalem” from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime. Finally, after 45 days of battle and confrontation, a temporary 4-day ceasefire or pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel was established on November 24, 2023

This ceasefire lasted for seven days and finally ended on the morning of Friday, (December 1, 2023), and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza.
