The Palestinian Authority betrays resistance’
According to Arabi 21, the English-language Middle East Eye website reported that the Palestinian Authority has requested $680 million in financial assistance from the United States over four years in exchange for eliminating resistance forces in the Jenin camp.
An American source emphasized that under the deal, the PA’s special forces will be trained and their weapons will be strengthened.
The request was made during a meeting between PA officials and US security officials in Ramallah last December.
A former US intelligence official also said that the country had been asking the PA to intensify its attacks on resistance forces in the West Bank for several months.
This is not the first time that the PA has betrayed the Palestinian resistance forces through espionage assistance.
