The Pope considered the American election to be a choice between bad and worse

PNN – Pope Francis criticized Donald Trump’s plan to deport millions of illegal immigrants, and Kamala Harris’s support for abortion, and called on the country’s tens of millions of Catholics to participate in the upcoming elections and choose between bad and worse.

The Reuters news agency wrote that last night, on the flight back from a 12-day tour to Asian countries, the Pope, in response to a question about the US presidential election, said that not welcoming immigrants is a “great sin” and abortion is “manslaughter”.

Without elaborating further, he said that American Catholics should vote for the worst of the worst when they vote in the November 15 election.

Despite criticizing both candidates, the 87-year-old pope said Catholics should vote.

He added: “Not voting is ugly.” not good You must vote.

American Catholics, estimated to number around 52 million, are crucial in presidential elections and in some competitive states, such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, constitute more than 20 percent of adults.
