The possibility of a cease-fire in Gaza before the end of the “Biden” term is weak.
The American Wall Street Journal reported in a report quoting senior officials of the country that the possibility of a ceasefire in Gaza before the end of President Joe Biden’s term seems weak.
According to this newspaper, these American officials said that they do not expect the Zionist regime and Hamas to reach an agreement before the end of the current presidential term in their country.
As reported by this media, American officials claimed that the number of Palestinian prisoners who are supposed to be released against the release of Zionist prisoners is the main obstacle to reaching a ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal did not mention the names of these officials in its report.
It should be mentioned that one of the leaders of Hamas discussed the details of the indirect ceasefire negotiations with the invaders in a speech yesterday.
Hossam Badran, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, emphasized that we do not count on Blinken’s visit to the region and that reaching an agreement requires serious pressure from the US on Netanyahu.
Hossam Badran stated that Netanyahu is deliberately setting impossible conditions to destroy any chance of reaching an agreement.
Badran praised the actions of the Lebanese resistance in supporting the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
