PNN – Argentine lawyers have accused the country’s president of fraud in connection with the promotion of digital currencies.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from “Hail” website, Argentinian lawyers have filed a legal case against Javier Milli, the president of this country, for promoting a digital currency on his social media and presented his accusations of fraud in this field to the criminal court.
Reports indicate that on Friday Milli published an article on the X social network (former Twitter) in connection with the “Libra” currency and wrote: The purpose of this currency is to encourage economic growth by financing small businesses and start-ups.

Milli deleted the post a few hours later, Hill wrote in his report. This action of his caused the value of this currency to fall and millions of dollars were lost to its short-term investors.
The President’s Office later announced in a statement that Milli was not involved in any stage of digital currency development and decided to delete this article following public reaction and to prevent speculation.
The President of Argentina also stated in a separate article on X social network that he was not aware of the details of this crypto currency project and decided to delete this article after being informed.
He also blamed his political opponents for trying to exploit the issue.
