The reaction of the European Union to the assassination of “Ismail Haniyeh”
According to Barons, the European Union refused to condemn the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas movement, in an attack in Tehran.
“Peter Stano”, the spokesperson of the European Union, without condemning the assassination of the leader of Hamas, on Wednesday asked all parties to refrain from escalating the tension.
The EU spokesperson said that the EU calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid further escalation of tensions.
Stano added that no country will benefit from the escalation of tension in the Middle East.
