The reasons for Israel’s failure in confronting Yemen, according to Haaretz.
Following the admissions by Zionist circles of the regime’s failure in its efforts to contain Yemen’s operations and the country’s naval and air blockade against Israel, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz, in its new article, addressed the reasons for Israel’s failure to force Yemen to withdraw and end its operations, emphasizing that a military solution is not successful.
Yemen has disrupted the daily lives of Israelis
Referring to the failure of the Zionist regime’s airstrikes against Yemen in forcing the country to stop its operations, which continue within the framework of supporting Gaza, the Hebrew media emphasized: At first, the Israelis did not take the Yemeni attacks seriously and perhaps felt ridiculed by these attacks, but now this feeling has completely subsided; So that after more than a year and a half since the beginning of Yemen’s operations against Israel, no one considers Yemen a short story anymore, and the extent of the field effects of its operations, including the continued firing of rockets into Israel (occupied Palestine), has disrupted the daily lives of settlers and reduced the number of foreign airlines at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Also, Israeli airstrikes against Yemen have not been beneficial and do not prevent the continuation of its operations.
Haaretz further asked the question: What enables the Yemenis to remain afloat amidst the significant turmoil in the Middle East and even increase their attacks against Israel?
Elizabeth Kandel, a researcher and dean of Girton School at the University of Cambridge, answered this question: The Yemenis have the rugged terrain of the north of the country, which protects their officials and military installations, as well as years of war experience and the ability to adapt to conditions.
