Pak Sahafat – “Khalil Mohammad Awaudeh” was released from “Ofer” prison today by the decision of the Zionist authorities after 6 months of hunger strike and spending 14 years in prison of the Zionist regime.
According to the report of Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, the Palestinian media reported on Friday, September 15, the sudden release of “Khalil Mohammad Awaudeh”, a Palestinian prisoner, from the “Ofer” prison of the Zionist regime.
According to the report of “Al-Mayadeen” website, this Palestinian prisoner was released today after 6 months of hunger strike and spending 14 years in the prisons of the Zionist regime, including 8 years in administrative detention.
It was at the beginning of this month that after his victory over the Israeli occupiers in the hunger strike, which the Palestinian prisoners consider the “battle of empty bowels”, Khalil Awadeen said in an interview with Al-Mayadeen: “We are a people invincible in battles; we win or we die.”
Not long ago, Al-Mayadeen reporter in occupied Palestine announced the suspension of the open hunger strike of the prisoner Khalil Mohammad Awadeh and said: He made this decision after a written agreement to determine the ceiling of administrative detention and the conditions for his release.
The wife of this Palestinian prisoner previously said about the reasons for Awaudeh’s hunger strike, quoting her: “My strike is not against life, but against the restrictions created and to deprive me of my freedom.”
In the recent ceasefire agreement between the occupying regime and the “Islamic Jihad” movement, the release of Awadeh, this Palestinian prisoner, was emphasized with the mediation of Egypt.
“Khalil Awadeh” is from the city of Azna in the northwest of Hebron. Awaude went on a hunger strike to get his freedom from the prisons of the occupation regime, and according to his lawyer’s statement, he was living only by drinking water.
