PNN – The head of the European Council on Tuesday asked the members of the US House of Representatives to approve the 60-billion-dollar budget requested by the White House to help Ukraine as soon as possible.
According to Pakistan News Network, “Charles Michel”, the head of the European Council, asked the US Congress to approve the $60 billion budget requested by the White House to help Ukraine.
Speaking at the European Parliament, Michel presented a report to European representatives about the special meeting of EU members on February 1 and the political decision to provide long-term aid of 50 billion euros to Ukraine.
According to “Sputnik” news agency, he said: “This decision is a message for those who, like us, believe in democratic values ​​and freedom. This is a message to our partners that together we support Ukraine and Ukrainians.”

According to the report, Michel also explained that every euro spent by EU member states to help Ukraine fight Russia is actually an investment in the EU’s own security.
