The resignation of senior security officials of the Israeli army at the height of the Gaza war.

Some Hebrew-language media, including Israel’s Channel 14, have reported the resignation of some Tel Aviv security officials.

Israel’s Channel 14 has reported that an unusual incident occurred during the war, and a large number of senior intelligence officials announced their resignations from the Israeli army.

Confirming the resignation of the senior officials of the army’s intelligence unit, Channel 14 called this event at the height of the war an indication of internal differences among the military over the origin of the continued war in Gaza.

The name of Daniel Hagari, the spokesman of the Israeli army, is also seen among those who resigned.

On the other hand, Hamas has announced that they are seriously seeking to reach an agreement to stop the war against Gaza.

An official source in the Hamas movement emphasized in a conversation with Al Jazeera: We are seriously seeking to reach an agreement to stop the war against Gaza and increase the arrival of aid and relief to this strip.

This Hamas leader stated that we are trying to return the Palestinians to their homes, especially in the north of the Gaza Strip, and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from this area.

He added that the delegation of the Hamas movement is in Cairo to meet the Egyptian and Qatari brothers and present the approach and attitude of this movement.

This Hamas official stated that the presence or absence of the Israeli delegation in Cairo is not important to us, and stated that we have not yet announced a specific time to reach a ceasefire agreement.

He emphasized that the Zionist enemy is leading field battles and negotiations with confusion and aimlessness.

This Hamas leader stated that this confusion and unplanned ness of the occupiers caused them to kill and commit crimes against the refugees who were looking for a piece of bread.

Earlier, a Hamas-affiliated source in an interview with AFP did not consider the possibility of reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza within the next 24 to 48 hours. A source affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas emphasized in an interview with AFP on Sunday: “It is possible to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza in the next one to two days, especially if the Zionist regime agrees to the demands of the Palestinian side.”

In the continuation of the conversation with France Press, he emphasized: that the new round of ceasefire negotiations will begin in Cairo and there is a path to reach an agreement in the next 24 to 48 hours.
