80% of the respondents to the questions of this survey also indicated with their answers that instead of thinking about marriage and having children, they are still looking for plans to expand their social relationships, develop personal capabilities, hobbies and take care of their health and well-being.
The results of this survey also revealed that the most mentioned reasons for not wanting to get married are the staggering expenses of the wedding, the importance of having a personal life and free time.
The survey also found that the main reasons for young Koreans to avoid having children is the heavy burden of responsibility they have to bear in pursuit of having a child, but they are not yet ready to accept it. And on the other hand, they believe that since a child comes into their lives, they should say goodbye to their personal life and forget it.
