The rise of the world for the formation of an independent state of Palestine; Zionism in strategic isolation.
On Friday (May 21), the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution asking the Security Council to review the request for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with a positive opinion and to recognize Palestine as the 194th member of the United Nations.
The draft of this resolution was finally approved with 143 votes in favor, 9 votes against and 25 abstentions. That is, out of 193 UN members, 143 countries voted in favor of this resolution.
The approval of this resolution sent the message of isolation of the Zionist regime to the world and confused and scared the authorities of this regime. Before the vote, Gilad Erdan, the permanent representative of this regime in the United Nations, during his speech at the General Assembly, while holding a poster, threw the United Nations Charter into a paper shredder to be a clear demonstration of the nature of the Zionist regime.
The dogmatic determination of European actors to recognize the independent state of Palestine
The Palestinian Authority is currently recognized by eight members of the European Union, including Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Cyprus and Sweden, but the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza in recent months have accelerated this process.
During a meeting hosted by Spain last November, the Arab countries and the European Union agreed that a two-state solution is the only way to end the conflict between Palestine and the Zionist regime.
A few days ago, at the same time as the resolution was passed in the UN General Assembly, “Joseph Borrell” in charge of the foreign policy of the European Union also announced that Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, and probably many other European countries are planning to recognize the “independent state of Palestine”. They are on the 21st of May.
He added: It is a symbolic act of a political nature to recognize the independence of a state, which Belgium and other European countries will probably follow.
