PNN – A former Egyptian military official revealed the secret behind the Zionist regime’s recent moves toward recognizing Somaliland.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Russia Al-Youm, Samir Farag, a former Egyptian military official and strategic affairs expert, emphasized that the Zionist regime recognized Somaliland after realizing it could not rely solely on its air defense in Eilat.

He added that the Zionist regime was besieged from the Bab el-Mandeb direction during the 1973 war and the recent battle by Yemen’s Ansarullah forces.
Farag stated that, for this reason, Tel Aviv thought of a solution to counter threats targeting the port of Eilat. Ultimately, this regime played the Somaliland card. In the next phase, the Zionist regime will provide economic and military aid to Somaliland to strengthen the region and turn it into a firm foothold for itself. Netanyahu will do anything to stop the implementation of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire and will exploit the current situation to displace Palestinians from Gaza to Somalia. From this region, it will also dominate the entrance to the Bab el-Mandeb and ultimately the Suez Canal.
He clarified: This move by Tel Aviv is considered a threat to Egypt’s national security. In the coming days, measures will be taken to prevent the presence of Zionists in this region and the displacement of Palestinians.
