The Secretary General of the Arab League asked Japan to recognize Palestine

PNN – The Secretary General of the Arab League asked Japan to recognize Palestine as an independent country.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Arab News Agency, Ahmad Abul Ghait stated in a press conference in Tokyo: This is the only solution; Gender discrimination, assimilation and repression that the Zionist regime does is not a logical solution.

He said that since 1967, the occupation, oppression and persecution of Palestinians and Arabs by the Zionist regime forced Hamas to attack this regime on the 7th of October.

Abul Ghait added: The Zionist regime wants to suppress the hopes of the Palestinians for independence. But we demand the formation of a Palestinian state.

He said the Palestinian Authority is a recognized institution to rule the Palestinian people and it would be natural for the government to return to Gaza with the help of the international community.

The Secretary General of the Arab League emphasized that millions of Palestinians live in tents without access to sanitation, drinking water and daily necessities.

“The Palestinian Authority should rule Gaza and Hamas’ position has changed because of the conflict in the region,” he said, adding that Europe and the West must overcome the Zionist regime.

He warned that the extremists of the Zionist regime want to expel Palestinians from their lands and fill the region with settlers.

Emphasizing that such a thing will never happen, Abul Ghait said: On the contrary, the idea of forming a Palestinian state is gaining strength and many European countries have recognized Palestine as a country.
