The Silence of the Arab World and Tel Aviv’s Arrogance.

The Zionists’ Dangerous Project Against Al-Aqsa Mosque; The Silence of the Arab World and Tel Aviv’s Arrogance.

According to Al Jazeera, following the escalation of the Zionist regime’s aggression and dangerous conspiracies against Al-Aqsa Mosque in the shadow of the silence of the Arab and Muslim world, many warnings have been issued by religious and political figures about the regime’s project to impose a new reality on this holy place and destroy its Islamic identity.

These warnings have increased in the shadow of the Zionist regime’s genocide against Gaza and the expansion of its aggression against the West Bank, as the Zionists continue their efforts to change the current situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Judaize it with increasing speed.

In this regard, on Monday, Jerusalem witnessed a provocative march by Zionist settlers with the flag of the regime, which was carried out amidst the strict security measures of its military and with the participation of extremist ministers in Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, including Itamar Ben-Gvir. They crossed the Old City of Jerusalem and reached the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, then stormed the courtyards of this holy place and attacked Palestinian worshippers.

In this context, Islamic religious and political figures announced in an interview with Al Jazeera that the recent Zionist movements against Al-Aqsa Mosque are a dangerous part of the occupation regime’s project to change the reality of the holy sites of Palestine. The escalation of aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque cannot be separated from the occupation regime’s continuous and brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip and the genocide it has launched against the residents of this strip.

The occupiers’ slander against the Islamic Ummah by attacking Al-Aqsa Mosque

These Islamic religious and political figures are unanimous in their opinion that the Arabs’ silence towards the expansion of the Zionist enemy’s aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque is no longer justifiable, and this silence has become the main factor in the occupiers becoming more brazen in continuing to carry out the conspiracy to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Sheikh Omar Al-Kiswani, the director of Al-Aqsa Mosque, said in this regard: Jerusalem is the capital of Islam and protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque is a religious duty for every Muslim, and defending it cannot be considered the exclusive responsibility of the Palestinians. The Zionists’ continuous encroachments on Al-Aqsa Mosque and their attempts to change the characteristics of the Old City of Jerusalem are, in fact, a crooked mouth to the entire Islamic nation.

He added: “Our relationship with Al-Aqsa Mosque is a religious one, and the Arab-Islamic silence regarding what is happening in this holy place today reveals the great danger that has arisen for the identity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the people of Jerusalem. Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to Muslims and is indivisible, and all Muslims must assume their responsibilities to defend it.”

Arab regimes are directly responsible for the conspiracy to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque

Helmi Al-Balbisi, head of the Quds Committee in the Palestinian People’s Congress Abroad, also stated: “Arab regimes are directly responsible for the conspiracy to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque and the increasing attacks by the Zionists against the Palestinians in Jerusalem. The silence of the Arab rulers against the aggressions of the occupiers encouraged the Zionist enemy to continue these attacks; Where the widespread aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque began in 1967 and the occupiers closed the doors of this holy place to Palestinian worshippers, but no firm official response was given by the Arab world to this aggressive and insolent act.

He added: “The Arab regimes have surrendered to the dictates of the Zionist enemy in order to protect their own interests. This is while the hearts of the Arab and Islamic nations are with Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and if the door is opened to them, they will not hesitate to make any sacrifices.”

The silence of Arab rulers; the greatest danger to Al-Aqsa Mosque

Ali Qara Daghi, the head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, also announced in this regard that this shameless silence is due to the weakness, division and humiliation that have gripped most Arab countries, and they do not dare to take any position against the aggression of the occupying enemy due to their worldliness and desire for power.

He continued: “The Arab regimes, under the pretext of the existence of armed resistance in Gaza, refuse to take practical action to end the Zionist aggression against this strip, but Jerusalem is free from armed resistance, so why don’t the Arab countries take action to protect it? These countries have many levers of pressure that they can use to stop the Zionist aggression against the people and holy places of Palestine, including cutting off relations with the occupying regime, stopping oil production, and many other levers. But they do not want to do anything to confront the aggression of the Zionist enemy and have no will in this regard.”

Jamal Abu Aram, Director General of the Hebron Endowments in the West Bank, said in this regard: “Protecting Islamic holy places in Palestine is the collective responsibility of all Muslims, and remaining silent in the face of the occupiers’ aggression against these holy places makes them more impudent to continue their attacks.”

Haitham Abu al-Ghazlan, a leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, said: “The silence of the Arab and Muslim world towards the Zionist attacks on Palestinian holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque, is very suspicious; this is while the violations against this holy site continue to increase and the danger of carrying out the conspiracy to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque, destroy this mosque, and build an alleged Zionist temple there has become greater than ever.”
