Israeli sources said that Eisenkot’s son was killed during the explosion of a tunnel bombed by al-Qassam forces, the military wing of the Hamas movement.
In addition, four army soldiers were “severely” injured in the north of Gaza. According to the statement of the Israeli army, three reservists from the paratrooper brigade and one reservist from the 7008th battalion were seriously injured.
