The strikes of the Yemenis worked/ Israel after closing the port of Eilat

PNN – An economic media in the Zionist regime announced; The Yemeni threats have worked and Israel will probably close the port of Eilat for some time.

According to the Pakistan News Network, the economic and Hebrew-language newspaper Globes announced in a report; The naval war waged by the Yemeni armed forces against Israel has caused severe losses to the port of Eilat, and for this reason, the Ministry of Industry is considering the closure of this port.

This media expert in economic issues quoted Gideon Galbar, the director of the port, as saying: The threat of the Houthis has affected all ships, whether ships that cross the Mediterranean Sea or intend to come from other regions, even the Far East such as Japan, India and China, have also been affected by these threats.

According to this Hebrew-language media, imports through this port have decreased in an unprecedented way and shipping companies prefer Haifa port to Eilat port.

Shipping companies report a huge increase in the cost of transporting goods (to Occupied Palestine) and emphasize that these costs have greatly increased due to the dangers that threaten ships bound for Israel through the Red Sea after the war in the Gaza Strip last October.

Quoting the report of Fritos Company, Globes wrote: The cost of transporting goods from China to Ashdod port has increased by 9% first and by 14% in the last 2 weeks.

The company emphasized: The confiscation and targeting of Israeli ships in the Red Sea area forces these ships to change their route and this greatly increases the cost of transportation, which has caused great losses to the Israeli economy and trade, especially since many goods Israeli exports have also remained in the port.

This media noted; Among the 105,000 cars that were supposed to enter Israel, only 37,000 to 47,000 cars have arrived at the port, despite the fact that last year, Eilat Port’s share of this import was more than 90,000 cars.
