The support of the Prime Minister of Spain for the pro-Palestinian protesters

PNN – The Prime Minister of Spain expressed his support for the pro-Palestinian demonstrators in this country.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, “Pedro Sanchez”, the Prime Minister of Spain, said in a speech that he supported the tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators who are gathering in the cities of this country against the crimes of the Zionist regime and called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to Anatolia news agency, in a speech at a political conference in the city of La Coruna, Sanchez said that he wants the Zionist regime to respect international laws and establish a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Spain’s prime minister claimed his government has a “coherent” stance on the need to defend “law-based order” in wars around the world.

Sanchez, whose government supported Ukraine with weapons in the war with Russia, said: “As we defended the rule of law in relation to Ukraine, we say that international humanitarian laws must be respected in Gaza and the West Bank.”

He also stated that his government told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that “the blind bombing and killing of children and thousands of other people in Gaza is unacceptable.”

The officials of the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip announced that the criminal military operation of the Zionist regime against this strip has led to the martyrdom of more than 25,000 Palestinians since October 7.

Cities across Spain have witnessed tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters in recent months organized by a coordinated movement demanding an end to the war on Gaza and the recognition of a Palestinian state.

Expressing his support for these Palestinian supporters, Sanchez said: We are with all the protesters. We demand a permanent ceasefire, the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, the initiation of an international peace process, and the recognition of the Palestinian state by the entire international community.

Sanchez has already promised to recognize the state of Palestine during his four-year term as prime minister.

Criticisms of the Zionist regime have increased following the statements of senior officials of this regime rejecting the two-state solution.

British Defense Minister Grant Shapps also reacted to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent statements about the two-state solution and called it “disappointing”.

In an interview with Sky News, Shapps said it was “disappointing that Netanyahu is rejecting the two-state solution, which he has said many times throughout his political career.”

The Prime Minister of the Israeli regime emphasized on Thursday that he is against the creation of a Palestinian state after the end of the Gaza war.

In a statement in this regard, Netanyahu stated that he has informed the White House of his opposition to the formation of any Palestinian state after the end of Israel’s war against Gaza. He also said that all lands west of the Jordan River should be under Israeli security control.
