In a televised message, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution called the huge gathering of millions of people on Bahman 22 a source of pride and an increase in the power and dignity of the Islamic Republic, and a cause for the enemies’ despair of the Iranian nation’s surrender. He thanked all participants in this great movement and called on everyone to maintain valuable national unity.
In this message, Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the dear Iranian nation and said: On February 12 of this year, you did a great thing; you made Iran proud, as always, by supporting the Islamic Republic, you increased its power, and the enemies who, in their statements and plans, sought to surrender the Iranian nation were disappointed.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution called the reward of this great movement greater dignity, authority, and complete independence of Iran, adding: Let us all try to preserve this national connection and cohesion, which is very valuable and precious.
He noted, celebrating the nation’s presence in the streets, repeating a single word and slogan, and flaunting their identity and character to their enemies: I would like to express my gratitude to the entire Iranian nation and extend my warm greetings to each and every one of you present at this huge gathering of millions across the country.
