According to the website of “TRT” news channel, the stock of wood, which was collected from the destroyed buildings, has long been exhausted, and poor people are now warming themselves by burning pieces of cloth or plastic.
“Marouf” from the people of Gaza said: “There is no security. “We are afraid; my children are afraid.”
Almost all 2.3 million people of Gaza have lost their homes due to the bombing and ground attack of the Israeli army.
The Ministry of Health of Gaza announced in a statement that the number of Palestinian martyrs has increased following the attacks of the Israeli army.
In this statement, it is stated that the number of Palestinian martyrs has reached 22,185 and the number of injured has increased to 5,7035.
This statement was issued while a Palestinian official announced that 4,156 Palestinian students were martyred in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank after the Israeli regime’s attacks began on October 7, and 7,818 other students were injured following these attacks.
According to the report, the population of this small coastal region now lives in public shelters at UN schools or in overcrowded makeshift camps around the streets of Rafah, near the southern border with Egypt.
Life at night without electricity in this area is spooky. Gaza’s electricity was cut early in the war after Israel cut off the fuel to the generators. Only solar energy remains. Sometimes a tent is lit from the inside with a flashlight.
The mother of a famous family with 6 children said: Life in Rafah is a disaster. What should we do? There is no shelter. Life and circumstances are difficult, for us and for everyone. All people are suffering, no bathroom, no water, no heat, no safety. We sleep with fear.
