The UAE welcomed the negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Ansarullah

The UAE welcomed the negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Ansarullah. According to Aden Time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE issued a statement. It announced that the country welcomes the ongoing negotiations between Riyadh and Yemen’s Ansarullah to achieve a permanent ceasefire and a political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

In this statement, it is stated that solving the crisis in Yemen will ultimately lead to the strengthening of peace and stability in this country and the region.

In this statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE emphasized the importance of supporting regional and international efforts to achieve a political solution in Yemen and fulfill the wishes of this country’s people.

Hizam al-Assad, a member of Yemen’s Ansarullah political office, announced that the ongoing peace talks with Saudi Arabia are the last round to be held in Riyadh.

While announcing this, he said that peace negotiations with Saudi Arabia are being conducted with the mediation of Oman and without the role of the United Nations. Unfortunately, the United Nations has played a negative role during the eight years of war and siege against the Yemeni people.

It should be noted that before this, the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced: Saudi Arabia has invited the delegation from Sana’a to visit Riyadh. Saudi Arabia’s March 2021 plan emphasizes the establishment of a permanent ceasefire under the supervision of the United Nations and the start of peace talks between Yemeni groups.

In the statement of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the purpose of this invitation is to complete the previous negotiations and that the purpose is to continue the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to establish a ceasefire in Yemen and to achieve a stable and acceptable solution for all Yemeni groups.

Agence France-Presse also quoted knowledgeable sources as saying that the purpose of this trip is to find a solution to unresolved humanitarian and economic cases and the issue of employee wages in the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government.
