PNN – Media sources reported that the United Nations added the Zionist regime to the black list of children’s rights violators in armed conflicts.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres wrote in a report that was seen by media such as Anatolia News Agency, Reuters and AFP: In 2023, violence against children in armed conflicts was rampant and increased by a shocking 21 percent.

The report is scheduled to be officially published on Thursday and it states that violence leading to the death and injury of children has increased by 35 percent compared to the previous year.

According to Anatolia news agency, this report indicates that the most severe cases of children’s rights violations in armed conflicts occurred in Israel and the occupied territories of Palestine, Democratic Republic of Congo, Myanmar, Somalia, Nigeria and Sudan.

In 2023, the United Nations verified about 32,990 cases of gross violations of children’s rights, of which 30,705 occurred in 2023 and 2,285 occurred in previous years but were verified in 2023.

The Zionist regime has been added to this list for the first time. In the Guterres report, it is emphasized that following the developments in the Gaza Strip, widespread violations of children’s rights in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories have increased by 155%.

In this framework, 7,837 cases of rights violations against 4,247 Palestinian children have been recorded in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, which were committed by the Zionist army and settlers.

According to this report, the Zionist army has cut off children’s access to humanitarian aid in Gaza, the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Guterres wrote in his report: I was shocked by the unprecedented increase in the number of children who were killed, injured and mutilated by the Israeli army and forces in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
